Background:
“A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” The famous play deals with the complex lives of four young and passionate lovers; an unusual group of ham actors, a deep and dark forest, and the mighty King and Queen of the beautiful Fairies. The play moves with the well written and composed acts; the magic begins as all the unusual characters dramatically meet each other with that came out the spicy recipe of humor and love. A beautiful world of fairies where everything dramatically becomes amazing reality and then reality transforms into rare illusion.
The first four hugely hilarious acts are purely filled with light humor. The amazing show presents a very funny and perfectly knitted prologue to set the tone for the rest of the play; a talented group of actors amazingly posing as a tremendous crew of some diligently working men. The humorous ride comprises bewildered lovers, bitter fairies and flying donkeys with some unusual and humorous characters. This huge production is directed by John Ficarra. John is a well known award-winning fight choreographer.
The superb cast is helmed by the inimitable Pickle Family famous circus clown Sara Moore in the hilarious role of Bottom. The show features original music composed by famous composer Dana Haynes. The beautiful Fairy Band is very well led by tuba virtuoso Sam Swartz. A timely rejected marriage arrangement, a thrilling custody battle, an unrequited and passionate love, a superb crew of some hopeful part-time actors and a very devious fairy. All are ready to set the stage for this magical comedy which was in fact very well written for the entertainment of the powerful nobles at a wedding.
