Janet is dressed in a strapless black dress and high heels, she is trying frantically to poison her spouse's drink. Does she succeed or does she fail? As she covers Derek's corpse with a quilt, his hand rises and grabs her throat. But fortunately this is only a dress rehearsal with her lover John for the crime they have planned. This is followed by lots of lusty thumping and squeals from under the quilt. John frisks off and Janet discovers a tape recorder under the table on which her husband has recorded every murderous word and thump. The twists and turns continue for the entire duration of the play and the audience is left guessing - what will happen next?
