by Stuart Ross, its all set to rock theaters
with its Chicago premiere. It starrs everyone's
loved singing quartet in plaid.
Forever Plaid, is a huge musical hit
about a four-part harmony group during
1950s. After whose sudden demise, they
come back from the beyond for a performance
that might have taken place.
In Plaid Tidings, Jinx, Smudge, Frankie
and Sparky return to Earth – under
the order of a heavenly phone call from
Rosemary Clooney. This time to perform
a touching, nostalgic holiday spectacle.
The Why, how and where baffles them, till
all gets clicked together in some astonishing
way. The characters sure blend some mirth,
laughter, music and fun in this holiday
season.
Plaid Tidings is a show that suits all
genre of audience. It is meant for the
whole family. Blending the most sought
out tunes from the '50s and '60s with
that of the conventional holiday songs
as well as carols, the show delivers soulful
symphony. The showalso includes mirthful
tribute to The Ed Sullivan Christmas Spectaculars,
and many classic and kitschy allusions
to the period and its sounds. Not to forget
some singing by Perry Como himself!
